HUMVEE School Program:
Proud Supporter of CTE Month
The Army National Guard's HUMVEE School Program is proud to celebrate Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month! Career and technical education plays a key role in preparing students for college and technical careers—and the Army National Guard is here to help too.
This year's theme, CTE: Learning Today, Earning Tomorrow! perfectly captures what the HUMVEE School Program is all about. The HUMVEE School Program can help open doors to exciting and rewarding technical careers, both civilian and military. From automotive engineering to vehicle maintenance, the HUMVEE School Program educates students (today) about the many career paths they have (tomorrow).
By bringing a military HUMVEE to the school and showing students the relevance of preventive maintenance to the real world situations the vehicle encounters, the HUMVEE School Program creates a unique CTE learning experience that gets students excited about the opportunities ahead.
